Our Story
Learn School & Academy is a global movement that enables every student to receive a high-quality education at a low cost. This platform offers a project-based and challenge-based learning environment that provides students with creative learning potential as well as up-to-date knowledge. We believe that the current era of education is high-tech and high-touch. Our goal is to humanize students’ and teachers’ interactions with technology and to provide the most appropriate custom program based on the student’s needs.
We believe that education must be more than just what is written in a book. As a result, we provide students with a variety of skill-based subjects from which to choose based on their interests. LEARN’s current collaborations enable us to offer academic courses in Coding, Digital Media, Leadership, Liberal Arts, Communication Development, Mobile App Development, and Web Development. The Skills Development Council of Canada has accredited these courses. Which is a Canadian autonomous and independent body that evaluates, accredits, and certifies students from institutions of higher education all over the world. All of the mentioned courses are skill-based.
If you look at current trends in Pakistan, you will notice an increase in the proportion of young freelancers who work with international clients and earn a good living. There are undergrads working as freelancers for reputable companies, all based on their skills. LEARN also offers Teacher Training Courses, Group Tuitions, IELTS/PTE preparation, Language classes, and Cambridge O-Level/A-Level classes, all taught by skilled and experienced tutors.
Parents are beginning to recognize the value of skill-based learning and want to take their children out of the traditional schooling system. Another reason they want them out is that they are extremely expensive and do not meet the new modern teaching methods. The same old heavy bags, mountains of homework, and an extremely competitive examination environment have stressed both students and their parents. They have found solace in online schools where there is no exam pressure, school timings are flexible, no transportation or extra expenses, the kids are safe and sound at home, and the parents are fully and completely aware of what goes on in a classroom, and they are all in all mentally at ease with the environment.
However, when discussing such a system, we cannot ignore its significance or run it without our teachers, or as we call them, “Mentors.” Our teachers have been trained in such a way that they can cater to the student’s individual needs. Teachers use a variety of teaching methods and tailor them to the needs of their students in the classroom. We believe that given the right mentor, any student can learn. Our teachers are not only there to teach, but also to mentor your children. We believe that a student’s relationship with their teacher is critical and that it cannot be achieved without it.
LEARN currently serves 1256+ students and has approximately 800+ graduates. Recently, a poll was conducted on their own Facebook group in which one of their members solicited candid feedback from their existing parents. They received an incredible response, with 95% of their parents satisfied with the quality of their education.
Learn School and Academy is a revolution, not just a learning platform. Learn has incorporated technology in education due to the increasing importance of technology in education and the changing educational needs of students. This integration will not only meet educational needs, but will also achieve new levels of productivity, implement useful digital tools to expand students’ learning opportunities, and increase student support and engagement.
Starting an online school and going against the norms of traditional schooling is not as simple as it appears. Despite all of the above, we cannot ignore the fact that the majority of students prefer physical schools to online schools. This could be due to a lack of awareness or trust in a system that does not physically exist, but it is all a matter of time. There is no denying that Ed tech is the future and that over time, it will become the new normal, if not the new conventional way of teaching.
